Hello There- This is My Journalism Portfolio!

I am a high school journalism student looking to show off some of my favorite works!

My Journalism Experience

I joined the Newspaper my sophomore year as a staff member, I was then picked to be editor-in-chief for my junior year and have run the paper ever since. I decided that I needed a bit of a challenge and took an internship. Afterward, I wanted to branch out and try my hand at photography, followed shortly by joining the Yearbook staff. I can safely say after working for all of the different classes that I have learned a wide array of skills that will help me in my future career.

About Me

I am currently a senior in high school living in Kansas. Outside of school, I love to write creative stories and spend time with my loved ones. I am involved in many different clubs including the National Honor Society, National Art Honors Society, and Quill and Scroll. I also helped build up a new club at my school called Women in Leadership, which pairs young women up with mentors in our community.
